“A big THANK YOU to you all for your support for my Ironman race and Fisher House campaign. Thanks to your generous donations, articles, blog entries, etc., I have raised almost $6,000 for Fisher House!
The race is this coming Sunday, August 26th, in Louisville, KY. I will be arriving in Louisville late Thursday afternoon and participating in race meetings, practice swims and other fun stuff in the days leading up to the race. I am really excited and cannot wait to get there!
If you have any desire, you can follow my progress during the race online. These websites will have info on the live coverage available later this week: www.ironmanlive.com or www.ironman.com. My bib# is 1671.
Thank you again for your support!
Bill Rollins
P.S. I have five more days until race day to accept donations for Fisher House. Please feel free to forward my website info at www.billrollins.com to anyone that you think might want to help! “

Anna;
God bless you. I remember when they first built a Fisher House on Fort Bragg. It was during the Clinton years when Congress and the administration wasn’t putting any money into the military and seeing that built with private donations let us know that folks out in the hinterland cared about the soldiers. Your work is truly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Brian Duffy

Brian, I can’t tell you what your comments mean to me. Bill Rollins (the one in the Ironman competition) is a true inspiration! As are all our men and women in uniform. I know that I would not enjoy the life I have now without the efforts and sacrifices of men and women such as yourself, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
