That was one nice piece of work. Thanks, Anna.
Sgt. Hook is amazing, TWD!
Ah! Josh Groban. He’s my favorite. His new cd came out today. “You Raise Me Up” is one of my favorite of his songs and it gives me chills to hear it.
I haven’t listened to the Josh Groban CDs in a while. I’ll have to do that, Lady Jane…especially after today. Need a spiritual lift!
I agree, Anna! I think I should go listen too.
I think I’ll keep really, really busy today, just so I don’t have to think about it all!
This is a most bittersweet song for it was a part of my son’t Memorial Service and played just before I gave his eulogy. It was a song that lifted me up so that I could stand and talk about SGT Mike Stokely and the life lived with purpose and full accomplishment in his short 23 years. But, for all time, as sweet as this song is, as powerful a message it brings, so it also is a tear upon my broken heart. Even so, I never tire of listening to it.

Robert,
You have written such a beautiful tribute to your son. He must have been and I’m sure still is, your pride and joy. Such a loss is heartbreaking, but please know that there are many who feel your grief, honor your sacrifice and pray for your family.
