A Request for Prayers

I have been neglectful about my blog reading for the past couple of weeks and when I visited Red Hot Cuppa Politics to get Frau Budgie’s take on the elections tomorrow, I was surprised and alarmed to see this post from Professor Budgie:

Fraubudgie Needs Your Prayers
She’ll give me heck for this … but I’ll deal with it. Fraubudgie’s not doing so well … one of those “she’ll get better, or she won’t” situations. It’s serious; she’s in Intensive Care; but birds do their best not to show it.With any luck … she’ll be back next week. She and I believe in Doctors and prayers. We’ve enough of the former … I’m asking for a whole bunch of the latter.

SOooo … whether you agree with mein Frau or not, please send a prayer for her recovery this way.
