Just a reminder that time is running out and there are many, many people who need a voice! 63% have been assigned, that means 37% still need your voice!

There is a great plan to give each person lost on 9/11 a voice for this coming 5th anniversary of September 11th. It’s the “2,996” Project and by agreeing to help, you will be given the name of one of our lost loved ones and on September 11, 2006, we will post all of the tributes for everyone to read. It is so that each person lost will have a voice once again and they will be more than just a number lost that day.
FAQs can be found here. A list of those participants along with a list of those names still waiting for a tribute can be found here.
Please, won’t you join us in creating a beautiful tribute to our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, husbands and wives who were lost on September 11, 2001?

Any idea how many are in and how many are still needed?
627 have someone doing a tribute (that’s only 20.9%!) There is still a long way to go, benning!
Thanks for the reminder, Anna. I updated my own post. I think we’re slowing down! Not a good sign. I’ve been working on a complete blog page for this. I want it to be good, and an honor. Y’know?
I hear you, benning. I have been looking for info on my lady, but have not had a lot of luck! I want to do justice to her memory.
Hi Anna,
I have my American, but I’ll post this as a reminder too.
Go Navy!
You’re a good man, Gawfer!
Thanks for the link to the sidebar button. Mine is up and I did a reminder post. It is up to 28% this afternoon…
I hope we can get everyone taken care of, jgf!
