I’m not saying one way or another because I am not there to witness it, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised that the Qana bombing and the “rescue” attempts after sunrise turned out to be a complete and utter fabrication by Hezbollah. That it is a way to churn the PR war and turn more people against Israel. I find it very suspicious that the building did not collapse for 7 to 8 hours after it was hit by the rocket. And in fact, if that is the case, why didn’t they pull the women and children out before it fell? Could it be that: 1) they had to put the women and children in there first? 2) they needed to set the scene and a collapsed building is more dramatic? 3) they wanted as many members of the press there, so they had to gather them up? Or 4) they couldn’t get in there because of the fact that there were munitions in the building and they didn’t want to blow themselves up? I realize there are a lot of references here and that it will take time to go through it, but trust me, one leads to the next and you find yourself needing to read it all because you just can’t believe that human beings would stoop so low and would martyr children for political gain, but it seems that is the case and sadly, not so hard to believe about the Islamofascists called Hezbollah.
Anna, I haven’t looked into this beyond what I have heard on the news last night from pundits on Hannity and Colmes. So I just don’t know; and as much as I support Israel, and as much as I already know Hezbollah isn’t beyond sacrificing fellow Muslims in their cause, I don’t want to get into “conspiratorial theories”, speculating excuses. When I have more time, I’ll check out those links. I’m sure a lot of people are blogging on this, but I haven’t been around the blogosphere much this last week.
I don’t hold Israel to task on this, whether Hezbollah did any staging or not. It’s a tragedy regardless. If anyone is to blame, it’s Hezbollah for being the instigator of all this.
I just find the use of children and dead children especially, thoroughly hideous. The photographic “proof” that Hezbollah is showing as the victims are people that from rigor have been dead for 12-24 hours when they are supposedly pulled from the rubble within hours. It has been shown that the building didn’t fall for 7 to 8 hours, so why didn’t they pull the victims out in that time span?
No matter what, it is Hezbollah’s fault.
Well, Hezbollah definitely has been propogating in the propaganda dept. It is insane how much sympathy and support they have gained. Show off dead civilians and babies, body parts, and the injured, and suddenly Hezbollah becomes the protector of the innocents.
That’s because people like the ACLU and world organizations of that ilk have made Hezbollah and Hamas “freedom fighters”, into the victims in this world, not the terrorists! It’s sickening!

5. If these things don’t sound possible to you, that no one
could be that callous or horrible, then let me remind you of
Beslan, where hundreds of children were held hostage on the
first day of school, the little girls raped, and then the
building exploded. Might I remind you of the terrorist
massacre of Israeli children in Maalot. Might I remind you
of the flying of several passenger planes filled with women
and children into skyscrapers. Terrorists are not nice
people. Other questions: How did that building alone have
so many people when other buildings had none? And why so
many children? And why not a single man? And why, dafka,
the building in which they stored the rocket launchers? Why
would people have chosen to huddle there against the bombs
instead of somewhere else unless they were forced to?
And what about the gap of eight hours between the bombing
and the explosion?
Inquiring minds want to know. Isn’t that what journalists
used to do, dig beneath the obvious to get the truth instead
of guzzling down and regurgitating staged propaganda like
so much draft beer in a cheap bar? And another question, if
the death of children is being staged for the benefit of
CNN, then isn’t CNN responsible for their deaths?
The evidence is adding up Anna..these barbarians murder their own..it is beneath contempt!

Several of the links that got me going were on Naomi’s email. I signed up for the email columns after the show yesterday!
There are some fishy things about this story. But here’s what we do know:
1) Hezbollah hides behind civilians
2) They use the deaths of women and kids as propaganda, and the rest of the Arab world falls for it every day of the week. So does much of the Western media.
Those are very important facts. Although, some on the left are calling all of the inconsistancies in Qana as nothing but conspiracy theories, Budgie.

But the propaganda damage to Israel is already done. The initial scene was just so tragic that few people bothered to ask any questions. Reporters were not even brought to the scene (yes, Hezboo handlers brought them there) hours later.
And we have all heard the examples of Islamo fanatics faking massacres before, such as Jenin as cited in the post by Israel Insider.
Remember we’re dealing with Islamo fanatics who believe they are commanded by Allah to cheat, steal and kill the infidel. Not surprising that the Hezboos would lie too.
But you know what really galls me? The fact that so many lefties instantaly accepted the Hezboo version of the story as true and refused to even consider they might lie. And of course they wouldn’t believe the Israelis, nor anyone else trying to fight this evil.
That’s what angers me, too, Mike. I hate the fact that so many here and abroad take the Hebollah’s word for it without investigation. But then they believe our soldiers are civilians killers without investigation because some Iraqi “citizen” claims it…when he wasn’t even there!
As for the bodies missing…shock! NOT!
War is deception. All who ignore the wisdom of the ages, shall fall to the sword of the new darkness.
